Comments:
This year's FQP did not start out well. We had a power outage hit at 1445Z
Saturday, lasting until 1830Z. Sunday morning, I managed a couple hours of
operating before having to do some vehicle maintenance on the fleet. Then the
rains and hale hit Sunday afternoon, causing enough precipitation static to
pretty much cover up the mobiles. After the storms passed, I was able to
operate the final two hours while watching the Cavs game.
No sweep this year, missed GAD. I also almost missed HER, but K4OJ came back
to me in the massive pile-up and we completed the contact at 21:59:49 (without
rubber clocking)! Now, that's cutting it close!
