Comments:
Expected a lot of things, but nothing like this. Planned to go for a full 36
hours- big mistake on my part, overtired from the lack of sleep that came from
final exams this past week.
Got a late start on Friday night due to the storms here in GA, and called it
quits early too. Decided to get a good nightâ??s sleep instead of battling the
impossible QRN on the low bands. Saturday rain should have made operating a
challenge with the open wire line here, but SWR was not affected that much â??
odd.
The next big contest here will be IARU for a full 24â?¦ that is, if band
conditions ever seem to improve.
