Comments:

Just had a few hours to play with my new K3 and the Reverse Beacon Network
telnet feed. I'm delighted to report that the RBN worked flawlessly throughout
the contest, with ~30 stations making over 800,000 spots in the 48 hours.

The K3 is much easier to work with than my old Mark 5, both ergonomically and
in radio terms. I spent a lot of time jumping on stations right after they
were first spotted by the RBN, using the available window in N1MM Logger, set
up to display calls in chron order to the nearest second. It's a lot different
than traditional packet, at least until everyone starts using it.
