Comments:

Operation again from "W6FA - South" , 1200' up the South slope of Mt. Wilson,
with a fabulous view of Catalina Island, Palos Verdes, down-town LA.. Rig was
an IC-756 on 6 meters to an R-8 vertical or a 40 meter dipole, plus an
IC-706MKIIG on 2 meters to a two-band Diamond vertical.

I can't believe how dead this contest was! There was virtually nothing on the
air. If it wasn't for a couple of S9+20 dB signals from Orange county, I would
swear my rig or antennas were broken. The few stations I worked also commented
on how poor this contest was.

I'm looking forward to getting back to "W6FA - North" in August. We're now in
"week 16" of our retaining wall/walkway project here, estimated by the
contractor to be "10 weeks." It's looking like 2 or 3 more weeks to go...
