Comments:
Operation from "W6FA - South" on the beautiful South slope of Mt. Wilson (which
blocks all of North America except Texas and Florida). Somehow, I managed to
skip over Mt. Wilson at Near Vertical Incidence to make some W7 contacts on 40
meters (This didn't happen on 20 meters!) On 20 meters, it was more a "Worked
all Texas/Georgia" contest.
Rig: ICOM-756 at 100 W into a 40 meter dipole. (The dipole is horizontal, but
the ground under it slopes at 45 degrees; the far end is only 10 ft off the
ground).
