Comments:

Operated for 3 hours from Apple Valley near Victorville,CA. Brought my K2 with
me and I put a 20M and 40M dipole on the eves of the house where I'm staying. I
tried QRP for the first hour but then cranked the power up to 10 watts for the
last two. Not sure that it made much of a difference with the low antennas.

Was interesting to work many of the NCCC members on 40 meters from this
Southern Calfornia location. You guys that I worked had big signals pounding in
down here. At my home QTH, many of the same stations are hard to copy on 40M in
the evening.

Late in the contest I tuned around on 20M and worked ZL1ALZ. Thanks to all you
KB'ers for the contacts.
