Comments:

Nearly ideal condx from Ohio this time. My 20 meter total was the highest I can
remember, thanks to short skip and mults like IL and MI. 40 and 80 also
produced well for me. I had a chance to end up with 54-55 Qs but things fell
apart in the last 4 minutes. The 160 antenna came down in the high winds we
had a few days ago. I repaired it temporarily, tying it off with the end up
about 10 feet, but it didn't feel its old self. But what was worse was that I
spent over a minute calling CQ on 1813 wondering where everyone was. I almost
went back to 80 but tuned up a little and found the gang. Unfortunately it was
too late to make it over the 50 mark. Still, an excellent adventure!

I have a great new plan for my 160 dipole. Hopefully it will be up by next
Thursday.

73, Hal W1NN
