Comments:
My first time ever operating HF mobile in 38 years of hamming. It was fun. I've
been slowly assembling a mobile station, getting ready for the NYQP coming up
in October. Brought the K3 out from the shack and used a 20m hamstick on a
modified hitch mount. Drove to two slightly better locations than my home QTH
and worked a few stations. Actually, I worked everyone I heard. A little
tweaking and I should have a pretty good single-op mobile contesting setup.
I hope I didn't throw anyone off by operating from home and mobile. I didn't
detect any hesitation once I signed /M.
