Comments:
I was out of rhythm the whole way. On 20M, it found myself calling on the wrong
dipole too often (which makes a big difference here), and I seemed to catch the
louder stations on 40 & 80 just after they had begun a QSO. I've noticed that
on Thursdays when I have an unusually early start to my day that the nights
tend to disappoint a bit. If only my work schedule could be adjusted to fit my
contesting and not vice versa.
The good news was 40M. I carved out some time this afternoon to erect an
inverted L (replacing the 18 ft. Hy-gain trap vertical), and I had my best 40M
performance in memory.
Thanks for the QSOs, and good luck in the "other" sprint on Saturday. :-)
73,
Joe
