Comments:
The worst start ever. Less than a minute before the contest started, I decided
to move the radios closer to me. When I did so, I pulled the power cable out of
one of my K3s. By the time power was plugged back in, I had 7 seconds to the
start. When the clock rolled over, I called W4OC only to find that I had set up
Writelog for the NAQP, not the Sprint, so I didn't have a number field. I didn't
have my CW messages programmed properly. I had to create a new log file. I was a
major league lid. I owe Don a big apology for screwing up his start.
I didn't get into the rhythm until close to the 2nd hour. Fortunately, 20
meters held up well and 40 was excellent from here also. Heard but didn't work
WV. Didn't hear VT, DE, ID, NV or AR.
73, Ken, K6LA
