Comments:
Put in 16 hours, even with rotor problems on 50, 222 and 432. Made do.
Activity way down from Sept. 2009. Bands had some enhancement SE on
Sat. late afternoon and early evening. Activity and prop was better overall on
Sunday morning. I pulled the plug early Sunday afternoon. Full contest
ramblings always available at kc9bqa.com.
10 gig is gaining popularity in Midwest/Lakes. Wonder if the Sept. VHF
suffers with two weekends of 10 gig surrounding it. Multi-band operation
needs to be the higher priority. Between Aug UHF, 2 weekends of 10 gig and
the Sept. VHF/UHF 'test, a lot of the players are stretched too thin. Not
sure how you'd adjust the schedule, but having 4 V/U/SHF contests in 7 weekends
is pushing it.
