Biggest thrills...
-9M6 ZL JA on 40m long path + KL7 and LOTS of W6/W7 VE6/VE7 was calling in as
locals !! super strong.
-Thanks to all station called in, and only missed African stations and heard 1
KH6'er.... The only african I wkd was ZS1EL as can remember now.
Not so good....
- Lost a good opening with 2 radioes, due a damaged powersupply , which had to
be changed
- lost consentration to due the powersupply and ruined focus on 2nd radio..
- No 2nd Amp- made me to give up with to pick mults on 2nd Radio.
- 10m WAS open but nobody could hear well my signal! the amp wouldnt play on
10m
- 80m array was stucked in north due burned relays, and no extra dipol for
local contacts made it hard to work all on a GP.
20 and 40m was VERY crowded and many station NOT QRL before they CQ CQ--- got
very often problem to keep up the rate coz frequency got busted by others...
Had new setup with sixpack (antenna switch) in each towers
and the new Tower 2 with KLM KT34XA fixed to West and rotary 2el 40 played very
well compared to the PRO67B in tower 1 as was used for 15m to east.
