Comments:
Total score = 17550 QSO pts + 3000 Bonus pts [1 TX mobile @ 1k pts + 4 TX
mobiles @ 500 pts each]. Entered CWO SO Category; but using only LP, no amp
avail.
Lots of activity in this one, *especially* from the mobiles...great effort.
My "go-to" antenna on 20m, 88' doublet as EDZ broadside to SW @ 50', having
major matching problems associated with auto-tuner on that band, so it was
unusable due to high SWR...frustrating, since most operations were on 20m.
Used back-up 10-80m OCF dipole up < 30' there but had real trouble breaking
mobile pileups or hearing many mobiles well.
CQWW RTTY significantly affected bandspace on 40m, hence very low Q count
there. Couldn't scare up much on 15m although it seemed there was propagation
there...just no activity.
QSO count earning Bonus with these prolific TX mobilers: K5NA (12), N5RZ (8),
WD5IYT (6), AD4EB (5), and N5NA (5)...well done! ...and FUN!!
Rig: Icom 737 @ 100w, 88' doublet on 40, 80, & 15m, low OCF dipole on 20m,
N1MM logger
