Hello,

I improvised a last-minute involvement in SOAB LP.
After a first night was devoted solely to the S & P on 160, 80 and 40m,
barefoot I had accumulated only 249 Q.
By switching on 20m in the morning, I could not resist to turning on the
amplifier and thus abandon the original plan. Immediate appearance of RF
feedback on 20 and 15m with the DVP (micro-keyer unit)
The Saturday was so hard on the ropes voice without DVP. It was at 1945z, I
decided to halt emissions. Due to strong gusts of wind it was impossible to
maintain antennas in the desired direction. In addition, heavy rain
generated a important QRN.
After a good night's sleep, Sunday morning I try to identify the reasons for
this RF feedback. Once the 160m inverted V was on the ground,
problem vanished. Traffic resumed on Sunday afternoon mainly on 15m from 1300z
to 1800Z and decided to use packet-cluster assistance.
In conclusion, participation in the first category SOAB LP (all QSO
160.80 and 40m were made in this category) + SOAB HP then Saturday SOAB HP
Assisted Sunday afternoon = Checklog category ;-)
Last note, the GU74B from the Acom 1000 producing about 850 W, this level power
has become much too small to keep frequency run, particulary on 20m strip very
crowded.

Congrats to Seb F8DBF SOSBHP 15m @ KHM and Oli F1AKK SOSBHP 20m @ KHM which
must total about 7000 QSO ;-)
The factory QSO of "Brest-même" works well, like one of the football league:

Next step, the CQ WW CW SOAB QRP, no RF feedback at this power level !
