Comments:

Well, at least the SSB QRM is over, and the headache
subsiding. Despite good preparations, and a great
CW weekend, I had a weak start on 15m, but 20m had
no room for QRP signals! Two hours on 15m, then two
hours on 20m with slow going, until I hit the brick
wall on 40m. Absorption was high, and people had such
high rain and snow static, that I couldn't be heard.
Finally, the rate was single digit, and I threw away
the plan and took 3 hours off. When I came back at
11PM local it was better, but 40m was already long
gone, and only 80m provided. It was relief to stop at
1AM while "only" one-third behind the plan...

Sunday morning was better, and I grabbed a few low band
QSOs as I ran up to 15m, where I got the VE1 VO1 VE2
KP2 VY2 and other "good stuff." I groaned working QRP
competitors like N0KK who had 493 Q to my 241, and W1XX
had 500! to my 291. Good job guys! I really worked hard
Sunday, madly S&P on 20m and 15m, CQing when I found an
empty slot. Ha! those "empty" slots lasted few brief
times. 10m was open, but too few strong signals worth
my QRP calling. I finally matched my QSO total from
last year (450) and took a break to refuel for a final
slow grinding finish on 40m and 80m.

Yes, I made more QSOs than last year, but missed 5 mults!
DE WPA VE6 heard but not worked, and SC MS never heard.
Conditions were so poor, I'll probably stay in the Top
Ten, but it wasn't easy or fun. See you on RTTY, or on
Thursday nights for NCCC Sprint CW Ladder!

A big THANK YOU to the stations who listen hard and
spend a minute to work a weak signal! I appreciate it!
