This has to have been the most bizarre night I've ever heard in NS.

Only station ever worked on 40M was N6RO... at one point we just kept
ping-ponging between 40 and 80.  Some very light signals heard, called, no
response.

80M was really strange.  ALL signals were on a level playing field, just a bit
above noise -- east, middle, west.  I've never heard N8EA so weak, but N4AF
reports him as loud, so definitely a propagation anomaly (unless I'm having
antenna problems I'm not aware of). 

160 was interesting; started calling CQ around 0353Z at 1.817.  I figured that
would be a good place between the masses; only netted a few Qs there.
