Comments:

I was expecting exactly this kind of propagation, the low bands still very
active and 10 meters producing a better mult count than last year.
Everything at the station worked beautiful, the mk2r+ is just a dream machine
for SO2R, I have to admit that it took me some time to use 50% of its potential
but I actually felt good doing both radios even in hi qrm and good rates and the
easyness of the box to move focus and ears, is just great.

As far as the contest, well... got a sinus attack on thursday that basically
took care of me taking any decent rest before the contest including 4 hours of
sleep on thrus night. and made it hell to stay awake, headaches and all. tried
as far as I could but the second night I can honestly say that my body was
shaking and with an accute neck pain, At that point I had to shut down I was
really fearing for my life hi..hi, so there was the second night gone plus
other forced breaks. I should be clear by know that november brings the change
in weather and its sinus time for me. i have to figure a way to stay away from
it , maybe no antena work previous the cw.

I noted a few things, rates at the start where slow and at the end of the first
night I was 300 qsos behind last year under exactly the same conditions.
And as much as I tried i couldnt get the rate to improve.

Also the multipliers on 15-20 and 40 where down. Maybe because there where more
DX calling CQ and less S&P or just that I made less qsos, but i kept looking for
easy countries that couldnt be found, I ran into ZL8X many times but only worked
another zl in one other band, i never heard the zk2,5R8 or the vk dxped.
and only one ZS. I just found hard to work things on the souther hemisphere.

I ended up with 70 more mults than last year and having 700 Qsos less. enjoyed
160 and 80 there tons of people and mults where plenty. 10 meters had some
europe that basically made our mults look nice as I looked at the ng3k page
there where lots of stations that I never heard or they just where not active.

I figured that without the 9 off hours my score would have been close to the
9.5 millions that I was hoping for so I consider myself very satisfied and
happy. I ended up with only 350k less than last year on a 47 hr watch.

I just cant believe that I have to wait another year.
and thanks for the many that moved!!
