Comments:
FT1000MP, Alpha 78, 1 KW, tee vertical. Just returned from a nine-day trip to
Bonaire with KU8E, K9YC, and N3ZZ. Tried to catch up at the office and home.
Took XYL to dinner and a movie on Friday night. Saturday caught up all QSL
requests (a lot of contesters still need the PJ4 Bonaire new DXCC entity
confirmed), watched Auburn win the SEC football championship, and then set the
rig back up for 160M. What great fun! For the most part, I felt like "fresh
meat" and was able to run US and Canadian stations (and PJ2T called in too).
Band conditions seemed very good. I went to sleep too early for European
sunrise, but heard a lot of good signals from there (9A5MT was the loudest) and
worked CT1JLZ plus Mexico and Caribbean. Thanks for all QSOs and Seasons
