i need to remember to check the amp's tuning more frequently on 160- just before
the contest started i let all the smoke out of the amp's choke. 160m DX pileups
are not fun with 100w into a low inverted L. played around for 2 hours and then
decided to get a good night's sleep before a backpacking trip Saturday and
Sunday.
maybe next year i'll remember the date of this contest and not book a frozen
backpacking trip that weekend :)
