Tough going with 100W and propagation not a patch on recent years.
I used a barefoot K3 into 250 ft of end fed wire, sloping down from a Sequoia
at 150 ft and fed in the shack via a Racal MA144 tuner. 6 x 60 ft radials to
the NW were laid out in the snow just before the event. Hand logged and
keyed.
My appreciation to all those who waited patiently for a propagation peak to
copy my call and standing by for the repeats! Thanks also to someone who
spotted me on one occasion - it was appreciated!
A thoroughly enjoyed weekend, as always.
