Comments:
Operated mobile in the center of Austin while coming home from a German class.
Had four answers to CQs/end of previous QSO and I called five stations who were
CQing or inheriting the freq. Not bad. All QSOs were on 40 meters as 20 meters
was gone and I have no coil for 80 on the screwdriver antenna. Rig is an FT857D
(100W) and a Yaesu ATAS 120A on the rear trunk deck of a sedan. Thanks to those
with good ears. Loud signals from W6SX, K0PG, NO3M, and others. I worked
everyone I heard.
Will be on from home next week. Glad the NS Ladder has started again.
