Comments:
A great way to finish out 2010! Once again, my new best friend 80 m came through
in spades! When the contest started, I thought that the high noise level on 80
would be a show stopper but obviously things got better - actually 80 phone (of
all things) ended up being my best multiplier band.
Before the contest I reviewed my log from the last time I did this contest in
2008 and decided that I needed to make a bigger push on 80 and 40 - seems to
have worked - gotta love it when a plan comes together!
Many thanks to the RAC stations - you guys were everywhere!
Also very nice to spend some time chatting with various contesting friends!
Gotta say that 2010 has been a great year for contesting at VA3DF - hope that
2011 holds even greater promise (like a 160 m antenna).
