Comments:

The G5RV is finally reaching the end of its life -- it has an intermittent
connection that finally opened up at the feedpoint - thus explaining the very
poor signal on 80m. I look forward to retiring the venerable G5RV (from high
school days), and getting some better antennas on the low bands.

40m was long, with very big signals from N6ZFO, W0YK,and N6RO. K0AD, who I had
a pipeline with last week, was a bit weaker tonight.

Low and behold, the 2 el 40m yagi loaded up very well on 160 m (!) and I was
able to make more qso's than ever before on top band. That was a pleasant and
unexpected surprise, and gave me a tiny glimpse of what phased verticals might
sound like on the low bands :-).

Nice to hear fellow CTDXCC'ers Chuck and Gator on the bands--NO5W and N5RZ were
sounding good into VA tonight.

Thanks for the fun.
