Comments:
We operated fieldday style this time. We erected Titanex V160HD vertical on
Friday afternoon and dismantled everything on Monday morning. We had no RX
antennas, but RX was fine on vertical, there was no QRN. Conditions were fair
to good, nothing exceptional this year. Highlights were: BD9BA & HS0ZEE answer
our CQ. Final score is our club record and increase of 30% over last year's
score. We heard also some 15 DXCC more but couldn't break some rude DX Cluster
pileups. The band was overcrowded from edge to edge and it was very difficult
to find clear spot. There was not much DX in our log: 8 AF, 56 AS, 59 NA & 2 SA
statins in our log and rest was EU. When the dust settled down we had 4 new ones
in our log: HZ, BY, PJ2 & ZS. So this one was fun.
CU in the next one!
