Took a nap at midday when most MN stations were on 20M. Central WI is a nice
location to run QRP into its neighboring state on 160-40. Mobiles always make
the contest, and they were fun to follow. K0PC and N0IJ stood out from that
crowd (apologies to the others who deserve the same congrats! :) I must pay a
rare homage to the 'good old boys' on 75M who get off their duffs and give out
Qs and counties. Their exchanges aren't snappy ('please copy....')but it's a
good feeling to come away with two-way good wishes and another multiplier!
I know that at least KE0G and N0UR were in-state QRP stations, and they were
LOUD at times!
My 176' doublet at 65' height outperformed my beam at 70'on 40M. NVIS I guess
:)
Look for my mobile in 'rare' counties during the WIQP next month.
