Comments:
Thanks for all the QSOs. Appreciate all the XE stations participation on the
different bands.
Unfortunately, 15 and 20 meters were not in as good a condition (propagation)
as they have been the last several weeks. Fifteen meters seemed to have burst
of propagation to Europe. Even then the limited propagation bursts were from
1400z to 1600z. After 1600z nothing from Europe. Fifteen meters did support
some Pacific and New Zealand Qs several hours after the Contest started. Even
then the propagation to those locations from the East Coast USA didn't last
long.
Twenty meters was okay. Had good activity, but none of the signals seemed to
be as strong as during the last month.
Propagation on 40 was good with low noise. However, there was a lot of
contention for a frequency with CW contestants. Always makes for a fun
time:>)
Here 80 meters was noisy due to local conditions. The Beverages antennas
helped.
Hope the upper HF bands improve for the WPX RTTY Contest next weekend. See you
then.
73,
Mike, K4GMH
