Comments:

Like many I am sure, "WOW" will be used to describe the band conditions. 40 and
80 were pretty good Friday evening but all the bands came to life on Sunday.

I have never had success working Europe on 20m with the ground mounted
vertical. However I was running them Sunday morning with 100W. Conditions were
that good. 20m was very short , a good indication of higher freqs being open.
Even worked a K6 on 10m, wish more would have checked the band.

First real effort with SO2R and what a perfect contest to experiment. Made a
few mistakes (sorry folks...) but what a way to add to your score.

I am sure some records will be falling after this one
