I was planning to have a good time in this contest, but those plans were shut
off a week before the 'test when an ice storm and winds broke a spreader of the
reflector element on my quad. With reflector wires hanging rather askew,
performance seemed compromised, and I could never get really "into the flow,"
spending most of the time trying to get someone to hear me.
Looks like this is going to be, in classic baseball parlance, "a rebuilding
year."
