Comments:

The CQ WPX RTTY contest is one of my most favorite contests. Going into it, my
goal was to achieve 1000 QSOs and 550 multipliers. Unfortunately, I fell short
of both targets.

I am in the process of reviewing the required improvements to my stations and
so far I have identified quite a few, ranging from dedicated RX antennas so I
can hear better over the North Pole (worked only a dozen or so JAs), 4SQ TX
antennas for fast switching between EU and US, and a real 1500W amplifier (it
is only about 750W at the present time).

>From operating perspective, I think it will be very helpful to adjust my
strategy and start chasing mults much earlier in the game. Since the US brings
me easy 4 points, compared to 6 from Europe, I spent the first night running US
and didn't bother with Europe. Unfortunately, this turned out to be a mistake
as I missed quite a few easy EU or DX mults, including P49X.

So, there is a lot of work until CQ WW RTTY and the 2012 CQ WPX RTTY.
Meanwhile, hope to see you in this weekend's ARRL CW.
