Comments:
What a fabulous weekend! Amazing results from the USA Multi Multi stations -
excellent score from the team at W3LPL(WOW!) - the closest photo finish ever
after 48 hours for USA top honors in MM!
The wind caused significant issues at K3LR this weekend. We kept the OWA Yagi's
locked to ride the 50 mph gusts for the first 30 hours (lucky not to have any of
the 20 rotors fail!). Only three rotation failures (going past stops) all which
we were able to fix from ground level. Then with two hours to go, an ice storm
caused tremendous static and loss of receiving capabilty! Pennsylvania Winter
WX for sure!
Thanks to all of the K3LR operators for traveling long distances to make the
K3LR team effort and enjoying another FUN time with great friends! Happy
Birthday to N2NT!
