With tickets to a Saturday night concert I could't get out of I started out
knowing that I wouldn't be able to do a full time effort. But I planned to be
close. That did not happen. Lesson learned: Never schedule a major home
renovation during the peak contest season. With contractors coming in
unexpectedly Saturday and Sunday, heavy duty hammering, electrical work
shutting off power, etc. I didnt even come close to any significant time in the
contest. Shame, conditions seemed good, especially on Saturday. Runs on 20
meters seemed bottomless. But only 9 hours contesting time. Wait 'till next
yesr.
