Comments:
Friday night fairly good conditions. Remarkably, worked 6W/WJ2O Friday 10 pm
local time - his SR .. . he had only 4 Q's on the band that night according to
on-line log, .but called CQ for 15 mins after our QSO with only 1 taker, in CT.
Signal easily readable here at ~S2 peaking S3 on 1816. With 100 watts on his
end, 150 here, not too bad. Wish this had been Stew Perry, where one gets an
actual score reward for such a feat. Otherwise the usual suspects. . non-NA:
CR2X, D44TD, P40L, KH6's, JA's and UA0's, plus NA mults, C6, 8P3, HQ9, V48,
VP2, VP9 etc etc. Just one continental Eu heard a DL6 early Sat eve.
In total, 5 new band-countries [6W, D44, HR, V48 and 8P3] but missed hearing
anything interesting on Sunday morning perhaps in part from lack of Beverage
antenna toward Asia and/or not starting until 0500 Local time instead of 0400.
But impressive to hear and work JE1SPY -- 50 watts. By 0400Z Sunday, the UA0's
were pounding the Rx at S-9.
