Comments:
High bands certainly were better than for CW. 160 was almost unusable here due
to static crashes and line noise. 80 and 40 were OK but not as good as they
were 2 weeks ago. Actually had a brief opening to Europe on ten Sunday with a
mini-run of 19 stations, mostly G's. Most contacts on 10 meters since 2003 and
a new personal record for contacts and multipliers on both 15 and 40 meters in
this contest.
I exceeded my self imposed limit of 36 hours for the phone contest by three
hours and I think the radio gods punished me by allowing me only 34 contacts
and 3 new multipliers in the last three hours!
