Comments:

Narrow window of propagation this far north for summer time top band. I did work
and hear more then expected plus missed a few by deep and long QSB. 

Repaired the west Beverage for the contest which was the only antenna I could
hear the VK's so that was good. Not much activity but the signals were loud
enough and what few were in the SP could hear me. Called KV4FZ off and on, no
luck and all the JA's that were loud were in the AA.

I probably would have never tried 160 this time of the year in the Alaskan
summer but for sure you can work stations. I could only hear the signals on a
Beverage however so it does require a good receive system.
