Score includes 1950 bonus points.
Pretty happy with the 2 CW stations, the GOTA effort (250+ QSOs from 3 kids and
an ex-ham), the VHF station (almost 400 Qs on 6 meters), and our first attempt
at digital. We used dipoles on telescoping poles everywhere except at the VHF
station. Radios were mostly K3s and a K2/100.
>From our site, we could see the smoke from the big fires in Los Alamos and
Santa Fe. Seems like it gets worse every year out here. With only a quarter
inch of rainfall so far in 2011, we're praying that the monsoon season starts
soon.
