Asked a few of the local hams including a couple of college kids if they wanted
to contest VHF style. Only experience they had was operating field day events.
It was a baptism in fire with 6 meters coming to life.... It has been 18 years
since the 'hill' was active in a vhf contest and it was a great way to get new
blood in the hobby "contest active". Now to get them use cw too....
