Comments:
Two weeks ago no 6mtr antenna or station. late to the 6mtr band this season but
figured I would give this contest a spin. Saturady some Es to XE and Central
America but few Q's inside USA. Sunday morning no Es but some fwd scatter Q's.
Then late mid morning someone through the switch. From New England to Florida
to Texas signals were flying around the band. Also some DX the likes of CO, ZF,
TI, XE(many new grids), VP5, C6, V31, TG and HK3 appeared. Just needed some
signals from West Coast and the Pacifc Northwest to top off the day but didn't
happen. Thnaks for the QSO's from a hastily put together station(Orion
xcvr/Demi xvtr/100W brick/Acom1000/5el W5WVO@35ft). No meters like 6mtrs thats
for sure.
