To All NCCC Sprint Ladder Colleagues -
Let it be publicly known that my old Dell Dimension computer (born 2004)
officially bit the dust at 20 1/2 minutes into Session #4 of the Summer 2011
NSL XII. It was my faithful companion through 1,000's of fun QSO's in the
last decade, and we shared many fun contesting moments. It was 7 years old.
As a living memorial, its wireless internet card will be transferred to its
successor, a Quad-Core i7 gaming rig custom built by my son Patrick, K3PAL. A
PIEXX SO2RLat converter will shortly be installed, to welcome my DX Doubler into
the 21st century as we bid a fond farewell to RS-232 ports forever.
