Comments:
Conditions were surprisingly poor on 20M throughout, but quite good on 15M
during the second session. Even had a handful of EU countries on 10M.
80M was a wasteland Friday night and Sunday morning -- very strong signals from
across NA, but only 13 of them! What a missed opportunity for everyone to land
major points. The entire third session was rather bleak for activity on 80M and
40M. This far west 20M and up aren't part of the picture until almost the very
end, so we bleat empty CQs on the only bands available.
I pulled the plug at 1316z (6 a.m.) Sunday after 40M was worked out and 20M was
still virtually dead, planning to get back on in the final hour. Never made it
back, but I knew I had a personal best in the log thanks to a great middle
session Saturday on 15M.
Best DX: VK5NPR/3 on 40M for 20266 points.
