Comments:
This was 1st CQWW since 2001. S&P mode only.
I installed 3, 2-element phased vertical (broadside) arrays at
45/225, 90/270, and 135/315. They seemed to play well. Missed some
Q's due to strong adjacent pileups. I could hear a number of the BY's
and YB's in the mornings. Just not enough RF to get through. Very glad
to hear them on the verticals!
Many thanks to VE3DXY, VE2IM, and VO2NS for zone 2. Has usually been very
difficult for me to work zone 2 in the contest. Thanks! I did not hear
anything from zone 10. Wonder what happened? Usually can depend on some
activity.
Overall had a great time. Will be back next year.
