Soapbox : First SSB operation from the home QTH with limited power and
antennas. Previous operations from N9UC (Univ. of Chicago club station).
No magic route to a sweep except for chair time; never did hear PR, and SC
stations heard here were all operating S & P. Nonetheless, a satisfying
operation given the limited time. Quite a treat to pick up VE4EAR in the
last few minutes. About 11-1/2 hours total; hit a very slow patch on 40
Saturday night. Mostly S & P except for a good run on 15.
I have observed all competition rules as well as all regulations
established for amateur radio in my country. My report is
correct and true to the best of my knowledge. I agree to be
bound by the decisions of the Contest Committee.
