Comments:
That was a loooong 19 hours. I used N3FJP logging software with the K7RE RTTY
attachment thru the Signalink interface on a Kenwood TS2000 at 45 watts. I say
it was a long 19 hours because I had no filters. Mostly S&P with a hoard of
signals coming thru at the same time. I wish I knew how to configure either the
radio or the software so that the bandwidth was smaller. I operated in
AFSK...and the swamping effect from the adjacent signals made me listen to the
other station work someone else prior to my trying them. I wish I could do FSK
for the adjustible filtering. This is something that I will have to play with
and figure out prior to the next RTTY test. I think that the best DX was South
Africa. 73 and HNY everyone. Kevin VE3RCN (Royal Canadian Navy)
