Comments:
I was at the Stanford University shack early, and
worked HK0NA and VP6T on RTTY. Then setup for NS.
20m had good activity for a change, and I made my
11Q x9M in 6 minutes.
40m was really hopping, and I worked 19 QSOs in
18 minutes (good for QRP)! I thought I might make
1,000 points tonight if I didn't miss any easy
points on both 80m and 160m.
I dashed to 80m and wrestled 6 QSOs from the noise.
Thank you to the guys who gave me a "?" and
listened a second time!
WIth 5 minutes left I jumped to 160m, which had
been good the last couple weeks. And again, I
got 4 QSOs and 3 Mults which put me over the 1,000!
I had a short QSO with K7SS after the bell, and
he had me 'Go QRO" to 100 watts. I was so happy
about the 1,000 could hardly send straight :-)
Great fun - Thanks for the contacts!
