Comments:
Just operated 3 bands only - 40, 20, & 15. Lot of off time especially Sat
evening when major storm blew thru and had to shutdown from 10 pm to 8 am next
morning. Was really amazed at 40m conditions. First night started working JA
on 40m about 1am. Thats 5 hours before their sunrise! Worked several SE Asia
stations before their sunrise also. Was working all continents on 40 at same
time without turning the yagi. Havent heard 40m that good in awhile. 15 was
excellent to JA and EU, but short openings over the pole into SE Asia on 15.
20 was noisy here but had good openings into Russia at night. What really
amazed me was all the QRP stations that called in. Some were just 5w and a few
were only 1w. Some were stronger than guys running 100w. Worked QRP stations
on 15 and 40m quite well. Thanks to all for the Q's. Eric / W4DXX
