Comments:
New personal best in this contest with a net increase of 54K over 2011. This
may be it for awhile as my wife and I are expecting our second child in August
and I may have to head to SOSB or just work the low bands overnights. Not too
bad for a vertical and wires. The R-8 plays well especially on 40 and 15. On
20 it is just ok but the performance surprised me this contest. Worked 8 JAs
in 15 minutes on Saturday around 2230UTC on 15 meters. Also worked E51 and ZL
on 15 and 10. That is always a thrill with a vertical. Conditions seemed down
from last year and better Saturday then Sunday. This was a total search and
pounce effort. Thanks to the DX for the Q's. 73.
