Congrats to RDXC Team and SRR for a fine contest. With better condx there will
be more 'Stateside participation. Russia, Europe, Asia seemed very, very far
away this weekend. The only bright spot was 40m. Condx were rather poor on
all bands. The weather was fine locally but the wx QRN wasn't quiet at all, so
most DX QSOs on 20 and down required fills.
Average points/QSO 4.32 means not a lot of R's and DX
W5KU and I were able to reconfigure the station wiring for automated band
switching of everything but the manual tune amplifiers, which made band changes
easier, but I probably still didn't change bands often enough.
