Comments:
I started just to have sum fun, as usual! This time I wanted to try a "solo" in
SSB (I like much more CW).
On Saturday I worked starting from 13:00 UTC and I lost 3 hours more for dinner
with my family. 15m were almost closed, but 20m were really funny (with some
interesting QSOs with far Asia and Oceania).
When I re-started in the evening, 40m were fantatic with the band exploding and
rates up to 180 QSO/h over 10-20 minutes! So I decided to pass the night at the
radio (I never did this before cause I like sleeping, hi!).
I set a target to try close as near as possible to the result obtained last
year by Fil, IZ1LBG from the same station.
Unfortunately, when I had to pass on 80m I discovered that the loop antenna was
not working. I lost about 2 hours to try ti repair it without success, so I had
to stay on 40m all the night. 40m where not so bad, but I lost too many
multipliers and I think 100-150 QSOs.
On sunday, 20m were still good as saturday and 2-3 hours before conclusion 15m
open again (with good signals from Asia).
In conclusion, I was really funny and I think I'll try it again!
