Comments:
Two guys a radio station. One guy operated until he couldn't take any more and
then tag, the other op had to sit down. Luckily for me Jay W1UJ brought lots
of enthusiasm and energy. His reward was to a lot of operating!
Conditions were an interesting mix. Low bands were good the first night.
Morning was tough until the Europeans stopped working each other. Something
happened around 2130z Sat and the bands suddenly got quiet. Rest of the
evening was no fun. Sunday the bands returned and we even enjoyed a short
opening to Europe on 10 meters.
Our log checking report is not going to be pretty. Difficult to copy some of
the numbers with the accents, QRM, poor audio quality, QSB, etc. But, that's
part of the game!
We had fun.
