Comments:
The SO SB on 20 this time is another one in a row of wpx ssb on 20 m.
On the air and log comparison to the last year shows less dx stations, as seen
from here poorer conditions and consequently lower score. Short comparison this
year/last year is given below.
Appreciate very much all the calls. Most of the JA signals were very nicely
strong. This could not be said for large majority of K stations that were
basically covered by left/right side qrm and of weak strength. In general quite
a few nice calls from Mid America, Far East and Pacific areas.
36 hours stayed on the air, a few hours, 3-4h more would be helpfull for the
present conditions. Have started one hour later after the band opening in the
Sunday morning and stayed in chair until the evening without break in order to
have at least some sleep before Monday activities.
