Comments:
Conditions worse than ARRL DX Phone here - and worse than
last year in virtually every way - see the differences
below. Almost no response to a couple of thousand CQs.
Low bands were down again, and 10 meters never opened.
Had some major lightning here - had to QRT twice on Friday
night. The second time I had some damage because when I
reconnected all the coaxes, control lines and power cords,
the SWR on one of the radios was extremely high. Two weeks
later and I have narrowed the problem to somewhere in one
of the three attic spaces in my house that the coaxes run
through between my rigs and the Polyphasers at the house
entrance.
